Article Processing Charge

All articles published in Diyala Journal of Engineering Sciences are published in full open access. In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to papers accepted after peer review. The Article Processing Charge is 100 USD for international authors and 250,000 IQD for authors inside Iraq.

The standard length (excluding references) should not exceed 20 pages for a regular article, 30 pages for a review article, and 8 pages for a letter. Authors of articles or letters accepted for publication will be assessed a mandatory page charge of 20,000 IQD (10 USD) per page for every printed page over these limits.

Apart from these Article Process Charges, there are no other fees (for example submission charges, or color charges). APCs is not refundable once the article is accepted for publication.

Waiver Policy Statement

The journal waiver policy statement is:

• No Article Processing Charges (APCs) required for articles whose corresponding authors are based in (Low-income countries, Lower-middle-income countries, and Upper-middle-income countries) according to the World Bank Country classification by income level.
• The journal's editorial board will consider approving requests for publication fee waivers from authors in other countries who are facing financial difficulties or experiencing a shortage of research resources.
